Can pcos affect pregnancy?

Question

I was diagnosed with pcos a couple years back and now me and hubby want to start a family. Im a bit worried whether it will cause problems in conceiving or during the pregnancy. Any of u with pcos who got pregnant, pls share ur experience.

I have PCOS and yes it can make conceiving take longer and slightly raises some risks during pregnancy like sugar issues. But i did conceive and had a healthy baby, just with closer monitoring. Stay regular with ur gynac and dont lose hope.

I have PCOS and it took us a longer road, eventually IVF, but here i am with my little one. It can affect things but it's not a dead end at all, okay. Get the right doctor and take it one step at a time, ur not alone in this.

It can, mostly with conceiving and a bit more monitoring. But healthy pregnancies are very common with PCOS.

PCOS affects everyone differently so a gynac who knows ur history is the best person to guide u. With the right treatment many manage it well. Dont go by scary internet stuff, get ur own assessment.

I totally understand the worry, i remember crying when i thought PCOS would stop me from being a mom. It can make the journey bumpier but so many of us get there. Be kind to urself and lean on ur doctor.

My doctor explained PCOS can affect ovulation so conceiving may be harder, and during pregnancy they watch out for gestational diabetes and BP a bit more. With proper care it's very manageable. Lots of PCOS women have healthy pregnancies, mine included.
