I have pcos and my cycles are always all over the place so I never know when im actually late. Tested twice this week and both negative but no period either. Anyone with pcos had a late positive?
Yes it can, because with pcos ovulation happens late so the test shows positive later than expected. Mine showed only after i was almost 6 days late. Dont judge by normal dates if u have pcos.
Honestly with pcos the timing is so confusing, I know how stressful that wait is. Test was negative for me twice and then positive. Try not to lose hope from one test.
It can delay because cycles are irregular, but if u suspect pregnancy and test is unclear, pls get a blood test (beta hcg) from doctor. That gives the clearest answer.
My gynac explained that pcos doesnt change the test itself, but late ovulation means hcg builds up later so the positive comes late. She told me to wait and retest after a week if negative.
