Can peppermint oil be applied on head during pregnancy?
I get bad headaches these days and earlier i used to put pudina oil on my forehead for relief. Now im 18 weeks and not sure if its safe during pregnancy. Anyone used it?
No, please don't apply peppermint oil on your head without asking your gynac first. Essential oils can be very potent and some are not safe for pregnancy at all. It's crucial to get proper medical advice on this.
Ho na, essential oils ke baare mein pregnancy mein thoda careful rehna chahiye. Peppermint oil bahut strong hota hai. Rather than applying it directly, maybe just try smelling a tiny bit from a diffuser or on a tissue, if that helps. But haan na, confirm with your doctor first, it's always best.
Peppermint oil on the head? Girl, my head was already spinning enough with pregnancy hormones, I didn't need any extra sensations! 😂 Seriously though, probably best to skip the strong stuff and just stick to what your doctor advises. A cold pack might be better!
Generally, it's advised to be careful with essential oils in pregnancy. Peppermint is potent. Maybe try some deep breathing or a gentle head massage with regular oil if you have a headache. Always good to clear it with your gynac, just to be safe and have peace of mind.
Hey! 😊 Peppermint oil can be a bit strong for pregnancy, some docs say to avoid it or use in super diluted form. Maybe try just a cool damp cloth on your head for headache relief? Always good to check with your doctor though! ✨
My MIL always said 'garam cheezein' (hot things) are not good during pregnancy. Peppermint oil can feel quite cooling but it's strong. Usually, for headaches, they suggest just rest or maybe a simple balm if your doc says okay. Best to ask your doctor directly.
Hmm, this is one of those things where it's best to be super careful. While some people use essential oils, peppermint can be quite strong. I'd definitely check with your gynac before applying it, especially on your head. Better safe than sorry.
My mummy always told me to be very careful with anything I put on my skin or hair during pregnancy. She said these strong oils might not be good. For headache, she would just gently massage my head with coconut oil, which felt really nice and safe.
Oh god, I freaked out about every little thing during my pregnancy, even what lotions I could use! About peppermint oil, general advice is to avoid it or use very sparingly, diluted. It's strong na. For headaches, maybe just a paracetamol if doc says ok, or just rest.
Avoid it. Many essential oils aren't recommended during pregnancy, especially peppermint in concentrated form. It can be stimulating. Stick to safer alternatives for headaches like resting or a cold compress. Consult your doctor first.
