Im in my 4th month and saw some bleeding today which freaked me out. My aunty says some women get periods even in pregnancy but that doesnt sound right to me na. Im calling my doctor tomorrow but couldnt sleep so asking here.
Nope, no periods during pregnancy. Light spotting can happen for a few reasons but it's not a period and it's not something to ignore. Show ur gynac if there's bleeding, simple.
I used to worry about this so much, every little thing made me panic. Bleeding isnt a period in pregnancy, and I learnt the safest move is just to call the doctor instead of googling at 2am like I did.
True periods dont happen once you're pregnant. Any bleeding in the 4th month is not a period and should be checked the same day. I had spotting and my doctor wanted to see me immediately, pls dont wait.
My gynac explained that what people call period in pregnancy is actually bleeding from some other cause, never an actual cycle. She said any bleeding after the first trimester needs prompt evaluation, so I'd call the doctor if you see any.
No beta, periods stop completely when you conceive. If you're seeing blood in the 4th month please get it checked rather than assuming it's normal. Could be nothing but only the doctor can say.
