This piles problem has been troubling me a lot in the last few weeks and its so uncomfortable. Im 7 months along. Just wondering if it can cause any issue for the baby or only its my discomfort? anyone else dealing with this?
I got piles in late pregnancy and it was uncomfortable but it didnt affect baby at all. Gentle care and avoiding constipation helped me a lot. It slowly improved after delivery.
Piles are super common in pregnancy due to pressure and constipation, but they dont harm the baby. Lots of fibre, water and not straining helps. If it bleeds a lot or pains badly, tell your doctor.
I managed mine with warm water sitz baths, more fibre and lots of fluids. It eased off after delivery. But if you see heavy bleeding, do get it checked by your doctor.
