Can pregnancy be detected after one week of missed period?
My period is late by exactly one week now. I have some symptoms but scared to test too early and see a wrong result. Will a test show correctly at this point?
One week after missed period is actually a great time, you will get a strong clear positive if you are pregnant. Both times mine showed dark lines by then. No need to test five times, once clearly is enough.
Yes definitely, by a week after your missed period the hcg is usually high enough for a clear result. My doctor said a urine test at that point is quite reliable. Use first morning urine for the best line.
Mine came out clearly positive exactly a week after I missed, was so relieved. Did anyone get a faint line and need to retest at this stage? Mine was dark right away thankfully.
