Can pregnancy be detected at 4 weeks on ultrasound?
My test came positive and im around 4 weeks. Thinking of going for a scan but not sure if they can even see anything this early. Did your ultrasound show something at 4 weeks or is it too soon? dont want to waste a trip.
Generally too soon at 4 weeks. A blood test confirms pregnancy earlier, and the scan is more useful a couple weeks later. Best to let your gynac decide the scan date.
I went too early at 4 weeks and saw almost nothing, I panicked thinking something was wrong. Doc said just come back in two weeks. It showed perfectly then, so dont rush like I did.
At 4 weeks its usually too early to see much on ultrasound, often just a tiny sac if at all. Blood hCG is better that early. Most scans show clearly around 6 weeks for the heartbeat.
