My period is just a few days late, and I'm really anxious to know if I'm pregnant. Is it possible for pregnancy to be detected as early as 1 week after conception or missed period?
My mother always told me to be patient and wait for at least a week after the missed period date. Doctors also say the same because testing too early can just cause unnecessary confusion. Take care and wait a little longer.
I completely understand the anxiety of waiting and wanting to test early. During my IVF journey, we had to wait at least 10 to 12 days after transfer for a blood test. One week is too early for urine tests, so please be gentle on yourself during this wait.
I remember checking so early because I was so anxious! But actually, my tests were totally negative until like 3 days after my missed period. Did anyone else get a positive test before their missed period date?
Beta, one week is too early to detect anything. Usually, you have to wait until you actually miss your period to get an accurate result on a home test. Just try to stay calm and give your body some time, okay?
It is highly unlikely to detect it at just one week. The pregnancy hormone hCG takes some time to build up in your urine. I got my clear positive only a day after my missed period, so just hold on for a bit.
