My periods are just 4-5 days late and im too impatient to wait. Doc mentioned tvg scan once but i thought thats done later. Can it really show anything this early or am i jumping the gun?
Too early honestly. I went for a scan early because I was anxious and they couldnt see much, which scared me for no reason. Pls let ur gynac decide the right week, dont rush the scan.
My doctor explained that very early, like 2 weeks after conception, even a TVS scan may only show a thickened lining, not a clear sac. The blood beta hCG is more reliable that early. She asked me to scan only after 6 weeks to actually see something.
At 2 weeks scan wont show clearly yaar. Do a blood test if you cant wait, that picks it up earlier. Save the scan for when there's actually something to see.
Don't tie yourself in knots over timing beta. A blood test confirms it early, the scan can wait a couple weeks. Whatever ur doctor says for the date, trust that.
I also did mine too soon and they said come back later, I panicked thinking something's wrong. Did anyone else get an empty looking scan early and then it was totally fine?
