My gynac told me hcg takes time to build up, so one week after the act is usually too early for a kit. She said wait till your period is missed for a clear result, otherwise you may get a false negative and stress for nothing.
A blood test at the lab can pick it up a little earlier than a home kit, but even that needs some days. Best is to wait for the missed period and then test with morning urine. Dont waste money testing daily na.
I tested way too early my first time and it showed negative, i panicked so much. Did anyone else feel like the waiting part is the hardest? Honestly i couldnt sleep till my missed period.
