Can pregnancy be predicted after one week late period?

My periods are usually quite regular and now its already one week late. We have been trying since few months so im hoping yaar but dont want to get my hopes up. Is one week late enough to know or should i wait more?

Yes, one week late is actually a good time to test. By then hCG is enough to show on a home kit. Use morning urine for clearer result.

Totally. After a week delay a home test is fairly reliable. If it shows negative but period still doesnt come in few days, test again or do a blood test which catches it earlier.
