Suddenly i have been getting acne on my chest and upper back, never had this before pregnancy. Im 12 weeks. Is this because of the hormones or something else? feeling a bit self conscious.
Wait if you mean chest pain or chest acne? Acne is normal from hormones. But if its any tightness or pain in the chest, please dont ignore that, call your doctor.
If you mean acne on chest, yes hormones cause breakouts there and on back too. I just kept the area clean and wore loose cotton, it settled after delivery.
I felt so frustrated with the breakouts on my chest and shoulders, but my gynac said its just pregnancy hormones and to avoid harsh products. It cleared up later.
