Someone in my family has lupus and now that im pregnant ive started worrying a little. Read something confusing online and got more scared honestly. Just wanted to understand if pregnancy can actually bring it on. Planning to ask my doctor too.
From what I understand, pregnancy doesnt cause lupus, but it can sometimes trigger a flare in women who already have it. This is really a question for a doctor, not us. If you have any concern about lupus, please talk to your gynac or a specialist.
I had an autoimmune issue during pregnancy and learnt these conditions are complicated. Pregnancy doesnt create lupus but hormones can affect existing conditions. Honestly only a doctor can advise you properly here, please dont rely on forum guesses.
