Never used to get headaches before but since the past few weeks im getting these terrible throbbing ones, almost like migraines. Is this a pregnancy thing because of hormones? anyone else experienced this?
Hormonal migraines are common but watch out, a sudden bad headache with blurred vision or swelling needs urgent gynac attention, that can be BP related. For normal headaches rest and water. But dont ignore a severe one na.
Yes, the hormone changes can trigger headaches and migraines, my gynac confirmed this. For some it actually got better in pregnancy, for me it got worse early on. She told me to rest, hydrate and only take what she approved for the pain.
First of all, the headaches are real and exhausting, I really felt that. Mine were partly hormones and partly tension. Dark room, rest and water helped, but please tell your doctor, and dont take random painkillers.
