I have pcos since years and struggled a lot to conceive, finally pregnant now alhamdulillah. Heard from a relative that pregnancy somehow resets the hormones. is there any truth to this or just a myth?
From my experience PCOS doesnt really get cured by pregnancy, but some symptoms felt calmer for a while. After delivery mine slowly came back so I kept up the lifestyle stuff. Please discuss this with your gynac, they explain it best.
My doctor told me PCOS is a long term hormonal condition, pregnancy doesnt cure it. Some women notice changes during and after but it needs ongoing management. So managing diet, weight and follow ups still matters.
I totally understand why you would hope for that, PCOS is so tiring. Honestly it didnt go away for me but having my baby was the best thing. Keep faith and keep working with your doctor.
