Actually yes this is possible, my gynac explained that sperm can survive inside for around 5 days. So if ovulation happens in that window, conception can occur a few days after the actual intercourse. Thats why the fertile window is talked about so much when trying to conceive.
Yaar actually this is exactly how it works na, sperm waits for the egg basically. So conception ka exact timing is not always same as the day. If you wanna know for sure just test after your missed period.
I learnt this same thing while tracking my cycle to conceive. The timing of ovulation matters more than the exact day of sex. Made me realise why people say to track fertile days.
