Hi ladies, I've been feeling a bit under the weather and noticed some tenderness in my lymph nodes, especially in my neck. Could this be a normal pregnancy thing, maybe because of all the hormones?
honestly, with my pcos history, my hormones were already so messed up and during pregnancy everything felt weird. but swollen lymph nodes sounds like an infection or immune reaction, not just simple hormones. better to just drop a message to your gynac to be safe, dear.
i remember getting a small swollen node under my arm when my milk was coming in later, but during early pregnancy it was mostly due to a mild cold. try to take warm fluids and just check with your doc once if it hurts.
oh god, even i felt a small lump near my neck during my second month and totally panicked. turns out it was just a mild throat thing but honestly please don't stress and just ask your gynac immediately so u can sleep peacefully.
actually i read a lot about this because my sister had it. hormones alone don't usually cause swollen nodes, but your immunity goes down in pregnancy so small infections can trigger it. my gynac told me any swollen gland should be checked once just to make sure it's not some virus.
