This might sound like a basic question but im genuinely confused about it. If it happens during the period days, is conceiving still possible? thoda awkward to ask anyone in person so asking here.
It is uncommon but yes it can happen, especially if your cycle is short or irregular. Sperm lives up to about 5 days so timing can surprise you. If you are tracking to conceive, focus on your fertile window instead.
Low chance generally, but bodies dont always follow textbook timing. Irregular cycles make it harder to predict ovulation, so it cant be ruled out fully. For anything specific to your cycle, a gynac can guide you better.
I had this same doubt while we were planning. Chances during periods are low but not zero, because sperm can survive few days and if you ovulate early it can overlap. So technically possible, just less likely.
We were also a little unsure about this when we started trying. From what i read it is possible but not the most likely time. I think understanding your own cycle is the most helpful thing honestly.
