First time im in this situation and feeling nervous. I got a kit from the medical store but honestly not sure how reliable these home ones are. Can it really tell properly or do i need a blood test to be sure?
Yes it does, I tested with a normal kit from medical store and it showed two lines. I felt my hands shaking that morning honestly. Just make sure you do it after your period is late, otherwise line can be very faint.
Yes beta the kit works well, dont worry. Just test in the morning and read result within the time given on the box. If you are unsure, repeat it after two days.
Kit is the cheapest first step yaar, costs around 50 to 100 rupees only. If it shows positive then go for blood test to confirm properly. No point spending on lab test before the kit shows something.
My gynac explained that the kit picks up hcg which only rises after implantation. So testing too early can give false negative even if you are actually pregnant. She told me to wait at least one week after missed period for accuracy.
Kit detects the hcg hormone in your urine, so yes it works fine. For both my kids the home kit confirmed it before I even went to gynac. Use first morning urine for clearest result.
