Got a faint second line yesterday and a clearer one this morning but my period is only 2 days late and i feel totally normal, no symptoms. can the kit show positive when ur actually not? thoda confused.
It is rare but possible, my doctor said certain fertility injections with hcg, or reading the test too late can cause a false positive. Usually a positive is correct though. To be sure, a blood beta hcg confirms it clearly.
False positives are uncommon, false negatives are more likely if you test too early. If you got a faint or surprising line, just repeat in a couple of days or get a blood test. Dont jump to conclusions either way.
