I had a uti around the time we were trying and i kept thinking that might have stopped anything from happening. Now my period is late and im confused. Does a uti affect conceiving or no?
My gynac explained UTI is just an infection in the urinary tract, it has nothing to do with whether you can conceive. She did say treat it quickly during pregnancy and drink lots of water. So yes both can happen together.
Yes a UTI doesnt stop pregnancy, they are two separate things. You can be pregnant and have a UTI at the same time. Just get the UTI treated properly because in pregnancy it needs proper care.
I had a UTI early in my pregnancy and yes the pregnancy was very much there. Please dont self treat it though, untreated UTI can cause trouble. Go to ur doctor and get the right medicine for pregnancy.
Same confusion i had! Turns out yes you can be pregnant with a UTI. I was just worried if the medicines would be safe, my doc gave me pregnancy safe ones. Do check with urs na.
