Can pregnancy symptoms lady keep fasting in islam?
Im early pregnant and having a lot of nausea and weakness. Ramzan is coming and i really want to keep my rozas but thoda confused. Any pregnant behnein here who managed it? Pls share how u felt.
From my experience, both during pregnancy and breastfeeding, it's very difficult and honestly, not advisable to fast if you're having symptoms. You need all your energy and nutrients for yourself and the baby. Islam makes allowances for this, so please don't feel guilty. Your well-being comes first.
Given my history with complications, I would strongly caution against fasting if you're experiencing any pregnancy symptoms. It's too risky for both you and the baby. Please consult your doctor and also a religious authority for guidance. Your health is not something to compromise on.
My doctor clearly stated that pregnant women, especially those experiencing symptoms like nausea, fatigue, or low blood sugar, should not fast. Islamic teachings also provide exemptions. The general advice is to prioritize the health of both the mother and the baby. You can always perform Qada (make up fasts) or give Fidya (charitable compensation) later.
It is strongly advised to consult your gynecologist and also clarify with your religious scholar. Typically, if you are pregnant and experiencing any symptoms that could be aggravated by fasting, it is not recommended. Your healthcare provider at a premium hospital will always prioritize your and the baby's health.
Please, please do not consider fasting if you are having pregnancy symptoms or feel unwell. Your and your baby's health is the top priority. You must speak to your gynac before even thinking about it. They will advise you if it's safe or not, which mostly it isn't during active symptoms.
I felt so torn about this when I was pregnant. I wanted to fast, but the nausea and fatigue were overwhelming. My family and doctor reassured me that my health and the baby's came first. Islam is compassionate, and you are exempt if you are unwell. It's okay to put your baby first, I felt.
Oh, I completely stressed about this during my pregnancy! But actually, no, you don't have to fast if you're pregnant and feeling symptoms or unwell. Islam gives exemptions for pregnant and breastfeeding women. It's about taking care of yourself and your baby, not putting yourselves at risk. You can always compensate later.
No, if you are pregnant and experiencing symptoms, especially if it makes you feel weak or unwell, Islam exempts you from fasting. Your health and the baby's well-being are paramount. You can make up the fasts later or offer fidya (charity) if you are unable to fast at all. Please prioritize yourself.
This is a really important question! I'm also pregnant and was wondering about fasting. My doctor specifically told me not to fast if I'm feeling any kind of weakness or dizziness. What about making up for it later, is that difficult with a newborn?
Yaar, actually, no! If you're pregnant and feeling any symptoms, like nausea or weakness, Islam itself gives an exemption. Your health and baby's health are super important. Don't risk it, you can make up for the fasts later. My gynac also told me strictly no fasting during my pregnancy.
