Can pregnancy test be done anytime?

I bought a kit but its already afternoon and im too curious to wait till tomorrow morning. Does the time of day actually matter or can i just do it now? Period is 3 days late.

You can test any time of day, but early morning urine is the most concentrated and gives the clearest result. I always tested first thing after waking. If you test in the evening after drinking lots of water, it can dilute and show faint or false negative.

Technically anytime, but the hCG is strongest in the first morning pee, so the apps all recommend that. Also wait till after your missed period for accuracy. Testing right is more important than testing fast.

I tested at night and got confused with a faint line, then morning it was clear positive. Did this happen to anyone else? The timing really seems to matter.
