I have my scan booked for tomorrow afternoon and nobody told me if i should come empty stomach or not. Dont want to reach there and have it postponed. Anyone knows if eating before is fine?
Yes for most pregnancy scans eating is totally fine, food doesnt affect them. The main prep is a full bladder for early scans, so drink water and dont pee. I always ate normally before mine. Just check your clinic's specific instruction.
My gynac said normal pregnancy ultrasounds dont need fasting, unlike some abdominal scans. For early ones they wanted a full bladder so I drank water beforehand. The clinic gives the exact prep, so confirm with them whether food or bladder matters for your scan.
