Can pregnant women go to washroom during pregnancy?

I know this may sound silly, but elders keep telling me not to strain or sit too long in washroom. I am constipated and now scared every time. Is there anything to worry about?

Haha of course yaar, in fact you will be living in the washroom, peeing every 20 minutes! Totally normal, the frequent toilet trips are basically a pregnancy hobby. Nothing to worry, it just means baby is pressing on the bladder.

I felt a bit silly asking this too in the beginning honestly. Yes its completely fine, and the constant urge to go is one of the earliest things I noticed. Just watch ur step on slippery floors.

Yes absolutely normal and you should never hold it in. Holding pee can cause infections which u dont want now. Just be careful walking in wet bathrooms, slipping is the only real risk, use a mat.

Of course beta, going is healthy and important. Just dont hold urine for long and keep the bathroom dry to avoid slipping. If u ever feel burning while peeing though, mention to doctor, could be a small infection.
