My report came and the rubella thing is showing something, honestly i didnt even understand it fully. Now im a bit tensed about what it means for the baby. Has anyone gone through this?
It can, especially in the first trimester, so please dont ignore this. If you think you've been exposed or have a rash and fever, call your doctor right away. They will do the right tests and guide you.
It can matter, especially early in pregnancy, so I dont want to scare you but please get it checked properly with your doctor. Most women are already immune. Your gynac will sort it out, just bring it up at your next visit.
From what my gynac explained, rubella is exactly why they do that immunity test at the start. Best to ask your doctor to check your reports and confirm your status rather than worry on your own.
Yes it's one of the infections they screen for early on. I had my rubella status checked in the first set of tests. If you havent had that test yet, ask your doctor to include it, dont rely on apps for this one.
Yes, my doctor told me rubella in early pregnancy can be risky for the baby, that's why they check rubella immunity in the early blood tests. If you're already immune you're fine. This is one to definitely talk to your gynac about, dont take it lightly.
