My throat keeps getting infected and my mom always gives me septilin, says its just ayurvedic so its safe. But im 3 months pregnant now and not sure i should take anything without asking. Anyone used it during pregnancy?
I love natural and ayurvedic stuff normally, but during pregnancy I stopped everything that wasnt cleared by my doctor. Herbal does not always mean safe for baby. Please confirm with your gynac before taking septilin.
Even though its ayurvedic, dont assume its automatically safe in pregnancy. Anything you take now needs your gynac okay. Just ask her once, dont go by the shop guy saying its herbal so its fine.
I also wanted to take some immunity wali tablets when I had frequent colds, but doctor said wait, dont take anything extra now. Better you also ask, beta. Apne se mat lo.
We get this a lot, people think ayurvedic means no harm. In pregnancy its just better to run it past your doctor first, takes one phone call. Dont start it on your own na.
