Im only 6 weeks and have caught a really bad cold, blocked nose and constant sneezing since 3 days. Cant stop worrying if this is affecting the baby at such an early stage. Did anyone go through a heavy cold this early?
A simple cold is usually okay, but if you get high fever along with it, that part needs a doctor. I would not ignore fever in early pregnancy. Call your gynac if temperature rises.
I totally understand the worry, the first trimester makes us anxious about everything. Your body is protecting the baby more than you realise. Rest well and dont blame yourself for falling sick.
I caught a really bad cold in my 8th week and i panicked thinking i harmed the baby. My gynac said a common cold itself doesnt hurt the baby, just rest and fluids. My little one was perfectly fine, so try not to scare yourself.
