Bit shy to ask this openly but im in early weeks and both of us are unsure if its safe. Dont want to harm the baby. Can someone pls share what your doc told you?
Honestly, don't stress too much about it, the baby is totally protected by the amniotic sac! As long as you don't have any pain or spotting, and your doc hasn't put you on pelvic rest, you are completely good to go.
It's totally safe as long as your pregnancy is normal and uncomplicated. My little one is a toddler now, and my doctor had cleared us from day one. Just use comfortable positions where there's no pressure on your stomach.
Yes, it is generally safe, but always ask your doctor during your regular checkup just to be 100% sure. Since I had thyroid issues, I was always very cautious and made sure to get my gynac's clearance before everything.
With single babies it's usually fine, but my doctor put us on strict pelvic rest early on because of the high risk of preterm labor with twins. If you have a normal singleton pregnancy, just go for it, but definitely confirm with your gynac first!
My doctor explained that unless you have a history of preterm labor, placenta previa, or active bleeding, intimacy is completely safe. The cervix is sealed with a mucus plug, so nothing can reach or harm the baby. Just avoid flat-on-your-back positions in the later months.
