We were intimate just 2 days before my period was due and now im a little tense about it. I thought that time is supposed to be safe but not so sure anymore. Can someone clear this up?
Low chance, but never trust the calendar method fully. Bodies dont follow a perfect schedule. If you missed your period after this, just take a test. And going forward, protection is the safer route, dont gamble on dates.
Usually the chance is quite low just before periods, since that is far from ovulation in most cycles. But irregular cycles can surprise you. So low risk yes, no risk no. If you are not planning a baby, use contraception to be sure.
I always wondered about this too. So basically it depends on how regular the cycle is right? Makes sense that ovulation can move. Good reminder that the safe days method isnt fully reliable.
Chances are low but not zero. My gynac said cycles are not always exact, ovulation can shift, and sperm can survive a few days, so a small chance always exists. If you are avoiding pregnancy, dont rely on timing alone, use proper protection.
