I have a really bad blocked nose and headache since 2 days, im 11 weeks. We have sinarest at home and i almost took one but stopped myself. Dont want to take anything without asking. Did anyone use it in pregnancy or is it a no?
No, dont self medicate with combination cold tablets. With both my pregnancies my doc told me steam, warm water gargle and rest, and only she would prescribe if needed. Safe rakho, ek call kar lo doctor ko.
Honestly best to check with your gynac. Sinarest has more than one ingredient and some of those they avoid in pregnancy, so your doctor will tell you the right safe option for you.
Just message ur gynac, mine replies on whatsapp for small things like this. Meanwhile lots of warm fluids and rest. Quicker than guessing here actually.
Beta for a normal cold try haldi doodh at night and bhaap lena, that helped most of us. But any tablet during these months pehle doctor se pucho, dont just buy from medical store.
Please dont take sinarest on ur own yaar. Cold tablets like that are not really recommended in pregnancy unless ur gynac specifically allows. I had a bad cold in my 5th month and my doctor gave me something safe instead, so just call her before taking anything.
