My MIL keeps telling me na to talk loudly or it will harm the baccha. Im 5 months and sometimes i do shout when im angry, ab tension ho raha hai. Is there any truth to this or just an old saying?
As a working mom, honestly, sometimes you just have to raise your voice to be heard, especially with toddlers or in meetings, right? I don't think general loud speaking is an issue for the baby. Unless you're screaming constantly in a high-stress situation, it's probably fine. Focus on managing overall stress.
I don't think just speaking loudly would harm your pregnancy. Your baby is quite protected inside you, and loud sounds usually get muffled. Just try to stay calm and comfortable, that's what matters most for you and your little one.
Haha, if speaking loudly affected pregnancy, my twins would've had superpowers or something! Seriously though, it's not a concern. Your baby is well cushioned in there. You might get a sore throat, but that's about it. My boys hear me yelling for them all day, they're perfectly fine.
Generally, speaking loudly isn't a known issue for pregnancy. Babies are quite insulated inside the womb. Maybe it could cause you a bit of a sore throat or hoarseness if you do it too much, so keep hydrated. If you're concerned about anything unusual, it’s best to ask your doc.
Honestly, I've not heard of speaking loudly affecting pregnancy in any direct way for the baby. But if you are doing it so much that it's stressing you out or straining your throat, maybe that's not ideal for you personally. For any specific concerns like this, it's always safest to ask your gynac during your next visit, just to be sure.
