Can spotting before period be a sign of pregnancy?
Got a little light pink spotting about 4 days before my period is due, which never happens to me normally. We were trying this month so my mind immediately went there. Could this be implantation or am i just reading too much into it?
I had light brown spotting and i felt sure my period was coming, but it never came and test was positive! It was implantation. But honestly i only knew for sure after testing.
It can be, but any bleeding when you think you might be pregnant should be mentioned to a doctor, especially if it gets heavy or has pain. Don't assume, get it confirmed for safety.
Yes it can be implantation spotting, light pinkish or brownish, few days before period is due. But it can also just be normal pre period spotting. Best to wait and take a test after missed date.

Doc explained implantation bleeding is usually very light, spotting type, around 7-10 days after conception, no clots, doesn't fill a pad like period. If yours is light and short, could be a sign, but a test confirms it properly.
