I eat moong sprouts almost every morning for protein. Someone told me certain things can mess with thyroid and now im second guessing my whole breakfast. Is there any truth to this or am i overthinking? curious if anyone else heard the same.
I had thyroid in my pregnancy and it had nothing to do with sprouts, it was managed with medicine and regular tests. Sprouts were part of my healthy diet actually. If you have any thyroid worry, just get your levels checked and follow up with the doctor.
Sprouts dont cause thyroid problems, my doctor said they are actually a healthy protein source. Thyroid issues are hormonal, not from eating sprouts. She told me to just cook or steam them lightly rather than eating fully raw, for safety.
No, sprouts are good for you, dont believe that. Just steam them lightly to avoid any tummy upset from raw ones. Thyroid is checked with a blood test, not connected to your sprout intake.
