We stay on the second floor and i climb stairs many times a day. MIL keeps telling me to avoid but its not always possible. Does going up and down really affect anything in early pregnancy? A little worried.
Unless your doctor has specifically put you on bed rest, climbing stairs slowly is perfectly fine and safe. Just don't rush, because slipping could lead to expensive emergency room bills and scans. Hold the railing and take your time.
When I was constantly vomiting and felt dizzy, climbing stairs was very difficult for me. If you feel weak or breathless, please avoid it as much as possible. Otherwise, if you feel normal, doing it slowly is completely safe.
Climbing stairs is totally safe if you do it gently and with care. Just take the name of God, walk slowly, and don't rush through it. Keep a positive mind and take proper rest in between.
Listen, climbing stairs is generally safe, but please do not run or carry heavy things up. Always hold the railing and watch your step carefully. If you have any spotting or severe cramps, stop immediately and talk to your gynac.
I had to climb two flights of stairs daily in my apartment until my delivery last month. My gynac said it's actually good exercise as long as you do it slowly and don't carry heavy bags. Just listen to your body and take a break if you feel tired.
