This is my second pregnancy and my first was a c section just 1.5 yrs back. Sometimes i feel a slight pull near the old scar and it scares me that the stitch might open. Anyone with close gap pregnancies, did u feel this too?
My doctor explained that the scar is checked through scans in a next pregnancy and they look at the thickness. Risk is there but it's monitored carefully, especially near delivery. Keep all your appointments and report any persistent scar pain.
I had two pregnancies, the second after a CS, and my doctor watched the scar closely the whole time. It's manageable with good monitoring. Make sure your gynac knows your previous surgery and follow her advice on rest and any warning signs.
I had a C-section before too and this worry stayed with me. The scar usually heals strong, but doctors do watch the previous incision in the next pregnancy. Please tell your gynac about your earlier CS so they monitor it properly, dont carry this fear alone.
This really must be discussed with your doctor, it depends on your scar and how the last surgery healed. If you ever feel sharp pain over the scar area, dont ignore it, get checked right away. Regular monitoring is the key here.
Dont scare yourself reading things, many women have safe pregnancies after a CS. The doctor keeps an eye on the old scar throughout. Just stay regular with checkups and tell them about your history.
