Ive been under a lot of tension lately with work and ghar stuff, and my sugar test is coming up. Now im worrying if all this stress can actually bring on gestational diabetes. Did anyone experience this?
When I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes, I felt so guilty thinking my work stress caused it. But my doctor explained it's actually due to the placenta block, though stress doesn't help. Please be kind to yourself and get tested regularly!
Stress is so hard on the body, and while it might not directly cause gestational diabetes, it can definitely elevate your sugar levels. Having had a loss, I know how hard it is to stay calm, but please get your glucose tolerance test done on time and check with your doctor.
I was super stressed during my pregnancy and feared I would get diabetes, but thankfully my reports were normal. Stress can spike blood sugar temporarily, so try to take it easy. Your doctor will do a routine sugar test around 24-28 weeks anyway.
Haan na, pregnancy mein stress toh ho hi jata hai. But gestational diabetes is mostly because of hormones, not just stress. Apne doc se baat karke regular sugar check-up karva lo, tension mat lo.
Stress makes everything feel worse, but it doesn't directly cause gestational diabetes! It's mostly hormonal. Try to watch some funny shows, do a little deep breathing, and just keep up with your doctor's blood tests! 😊
Gestational diabetes is mainly due to placental hormones, but high stress can definitely worsen blood sugar levels. Since I had complications during my pregnancy, my doctor monitored my sugar closely. Please talk to your gynac and get your OGTT test done to be safe.
