I did a strip test at home and it showed a very faint second line, now im doubting if its real or not. period is 5 days late. Can these strips give wrong results sometimes? planning to do another one or visit doc.
It can show false negative if done early or with diluted urine. Use morning sample and dont waste it after rushing. If unsure just get a blood test, quick and clear.
Yes it can, mostly if u test too early before hcg builds up. My gynac told me first morning urine gives most accurate result. If period still misses, repeat after 2-3 days or do a blood test.
I retested like 4 times because i didnt trust the faint line haha. Turned out it was correct. So yeah faint line is still a line, dont panic but confirm with doc.
