I used to do surya namaskar daily before and someone scared me saying it can cause miscarriage. Im 6 months now, havent done it in a while. Is this true ya just a myth? need to know.
Surya Namaskar is beautiful, but at 6 months, your body needs gentle care and protection. You can just sit quietly, chant some positive mantras, and do simple breathing exercises instead of physical bending.
When I was 6 months pregnant, I wanted to stay active but my doctor told me to avoid Surya Namaskar because of the intense abdominal pressure. It is much safer to do basic prenatal stretches under guidance, don't take any risks now.
In my 6th month, my mother and saas strictly told me to avoid any bending or heavy stretching. At this stage, your belly is big and your balance can be off, so please stick to simple walks and avoid such yoga.
Please do not attempt any strenuous exercises like Surya Namaskar at 6 months without consulting your gynac first. Some yoga poses involve deep forward bends and lying on the stomach, which can be highly risky for the baby.
