After my delivery, my tummy still looks quite big, and I'm looking for ways to get back in shape. I've seen some ladies using sweat belts. Can a sweat belt be safely used by post-pregnancy women to reduce tummy fat?
I had a normal delivery and used a simple maternity binder/belt after 2 weeks, but sweat belts are too tight and make you sweat unnaturally. Better to stick to normal support belts.
Beta, in our times we used a soft cotton saree to tie the stomach gently. Sweat belts are too tight and plastic, they are not good for your healing body.
Please don't use it without asking your doctor first, especially if you had a C-section or stitches. Doing it too early can cause serious internal damage.
Since your body has gone through so much to bring this little one, please treat it gently. Avoid sweat belts and focus on nourishing yourself; check with your doctor before trying anything.
