Ive had bv twice already this pregnancy and it keeps coming back no matter what. Its so frustrating honestly and thoda embarrassing to keep going to doc. Anyone else dealt with this?
Oh god, BV in pregnancy, I would be overthinking this constantly! It's so important that you get this sorted properly. Have you talked to your doctor about whether it might be recurring or if the treatment needs adjusting? Don't stress out like I did, but please push for answers from your gynac. Sometimes they need to try different things.
Oh, this is a serious concern! I'm planning my pregnancy, and I'm trying to learn about all these things to be prepared. BV can be tricky even normally, so during pregnancy, I can imagine it's even more worrying. I would definitely be calling my gynac for a clear treatment plan if this happened to me.
Untreated BV can lead to complications, which means more doctor visits and potentially higher medical costs later. So, it's crucial to address it effectively now. Make sure you're following your doctor's instructions to the letter, completing your meds, and getting re-tested if needed. It's an investment in your health and avoiding bigger bills down the line.
BV (Bacterial Vaginosis) during pregnancy needs proper medical attention, it's not something you should try to manage on your own. My husband/friend always says it's important to complete the full course of antibiotics prescribed by your gynac, even if you feel better quickly. If it's recurring, your doctor might need to adjust the treatment or explore other factors. Please discuss this thoroughly with them.
I'm in my second trimester too, and sometimes I get really anxious about every little change or symptom. BV sounds like something that would make me very worried. Have others also found it difficult to treat during pregnancy? My doctor had mentioned maintaining good hygiene, but if it's not going away, you absolutely need to follow up with your gynac quickly.
After all the effort and emotional investment, especially for those of us who went through IVF, every concern during pregnancy feels magnified. BV is something that needs very careful and consistent management. Please ensure you are regularly consulting your doctor and expressing all your concerns. Don't hesitate to seek a second opinion if you're not getting relief. Your well-being is paramount.
It must be incredibly frustrating and worrying to deal with recurring BV, especially when you're pregnant and want everything to be perfect for your baby. I understand that feeling of helplessness completely. Please don't give up; just keep communicating openly with your gynac. They are the best person to help you find an effective solution and give you peace of mind.
