Its mango season and i literally cant resist them yaar. Im 5 months along but my mom keeps saying mango is heaty and i should avoid. Is it really a problem or can i enjoy?
Mango is safe but it's quite high in sugar, so just be a little mindful. I had GD so I had to skip it mostly, but if your sugar levels are fine, a small portion is okay. Maybe pair it with some nuts to slow the sugar.
Mango season during pregnancy is a literal blessing, I ate so many. Totally safe yaar, just dont go overboard because of the sugar. I limited to one a day and savoured every bite honestly.
Of course you can have mango, it's fruit not poison. Both my pregnancies were in summer and I enjoyed it. Just keep the quantity reasonable and you're good.
