Can tension physiotherapy be used during pregnancy?
My kamar and neck have been so stiff lately and someone suggested physiotherapy for the tension. Im 25 weeks. Is this kind of thing ok during pregnancy or better to wait? Pls share if anyone tried.
Haan na, back pain and neck tension can get so bad during these months! Gentle physiotherapy or prenatal massage is very helpful, ho na. Just make sure the therapist is certified for pregnant ladies.
Beta, ghar pe gentle warm compress or oil massage from your mother or MIL is also very relaxing. If you want proper physiotherapy, just ask your doctor first so they can recommend a safe person.
I didn't know we could do physiotherapy during pregnancy, this is so good to know! My upper back already gets so tense, so I am definitely going to ask my doctor about safe physical therapy options when I conceive.
My doctor clearly told me that physiotherapy for muscle tension is safe, but we must avoid TENS machines on the lower back or abdomen. Always go to a certified antenatal physiotherapist who understands pregnancy precautions. Don't go to any random clinic.
Physical therapy can help relieve pain, but always check with your doctor first to make sure there are no complications. Along with it, keep your diet clean and do mild, safe walks to keep your sugar levels in check.
