Can tetanus shot cause more vaginal discharge in pregnancy?
I took my TT injection last week and since then i feel like the discharge has increased a bit. Not sure if its connected or just a coincidence with the pregnancy. Did anyone notice this after their shot?
I cant say medically but my discharge increased anyway during pregnancy, around the same months as my shots too. For me it was just normal hormonal stuff. If you feel something is off, better ask the doctor than assume.
The tetanus shot itself doesnt usually cause extra discharge, that increase in discharge is just normal pregnancy hormones. They often happen around the same time so people link them. If your discharge has a smell, itching or unusual colour, then mention it to your gynac.
Increased discharge is just a regular pregnancy thing, not from the TT shot. I had more discharge throughout, totally normal if its clear or milky and odourless. Dont worry connecting it to the injection.
