Can the male partner take paracetamol while try to conceive?
We are actively trying this month and my husband has a bad fever and headache. he wants to take something but now im overthinking if it affects anything from his side. anyone knows?
An occasional paracetamol for him is generally considered fine, it does not work like that on conception. But if he is taking it regularly for some issue, better he asks a doctor why. For a one off fever it is usually no big deal.
Honestly I would just have him check with a doctor to be sure rather than us guessing. When we were trying we asked the doc about any medicine before taking. Better safe with a quick question.
Occasional use is not really a concern for conception from what our doctor said. But routine or long term use of any medicine is worth confirming with a doc. When in doubt, just ask the gynac, it takes a minute.
