Can there be false negative pregnancy test after missed period?
My period is 5 days late and I have most of the early symptoms but the strip showed only one line. Im so confused na, can the test still be wrong even after missing period? Anyone had this happen and then turned out positive later?
Mere saath bilkul yahi hua tha. I felt sure I was pregnant but test showed one line for almost a week. Repeated it later and there it was, two lines. So dont lose hope so fast.
My gynac explained it's about hcg levels. Sometimes implantation is late so the hormone hasnt risen enough to detect yet. She told me a blood test (beta hcg) is way more accurate than the strip if I really wanted to be sure.
Actually yaar the strip quality matters a lot. I once got a cheap one and it gave negative, bought a better brand next day and clear positive. Dont fully trust just one test.
Yes happens more than people think. If u tested too early or with diluted urine it can show negative even after missed period. Wait 3-4 days and test again with first morning urine, thats the strongest.
If period is missed by a week and tests keep coming negative, please go to your doctor for a blood test. Sometimes a missed period can mean other things too, better to get it checked properly.
