Can there be periods between pregnancy and intercourse?
I'm a bit confused about my cycle. Is it possible to have periods even after having intercourse and potentially conceiving? I've heard about implantation bleeding, but can regular periods still occur before a confirmed pregnancy?
Scientifically, menstruation stops once you're pregnant. If you are experiencing bleeding or spotting, consulting your gynac is the most logical next step.
After my C-section, I became super cautious about any bleeding. A real period cannot happen during pregnancy, so please call your doctor to verify what's happening.
Double the babies meant double the confusion for me, haha! But honestly, real periods stop during pregnancy, so do check with your doctor if you're seeing blood.
Actually, proper periods don't happen once you are pregnant, though light spotting is sometimes normal. Better ask your gynac to be sure while I go finish my plate of piping hot pakoras!
Between throwing up all day, I also had so many doubts about spotting. Real periods don't happen, so please check with your doctor if you have any bleeding.
My Flo tracker app always showed that some women get light implantation bleeding which looks like a period, but it's not. Keep a track of it and tell your doctor.
As someone who hears medical talk daily, I can tell you periods don't happen in pregnancy. Bleeding after sex should be evaluated by your gynac to rule out any infection or irritation.
I know how stressful every little symptom can be when you're expecting. But please contact your gynac because periods definitely don't happen after conceiving.
Listen, you cannot get a period if you are pregnant. If there is bleeding after intercourse, please don't ignore it and talk to your gynac immediately.
I totally understand how confusing these early days are and how much we overthink. Please talk to your gynac to ease your mind, sending you lots of love.
