We have been trying since almost a year and recently my thyroid came out a bit off. Now im wondering if thats the reason its taking so long. Anyone conceived after fixing their thyroid?
Don't worry beta, thyroid is super common and very manageable. Many women with it conceive perfectly fine once its in control. Just get tested and listen to ur doctor, thats all.
My doctor explained both high and low thyroid can mess with conceiving and even early pregnancy. The good news is its very treatable, a small daily tablet if needed and regular TSH checks. So dont panic, just get evaluated properly.

It can play a role, hormones are all connected. I wont claim to know the medical side fully, but my doctor checked thyroid along with my PCOS workup when we were planning. Worth getting that simple blood test done first.
Yes it can, thyroid affects your cycles and ovulation. I had it and my doc made sure my TSH was in range before and during pregnancy. Get it tested and keep following up, once its controlled it usually isnt a big problem.
