Can too much coughing during pregnancy hurt the baby?

im 6 months pregnant and stuck with a bad cough for almost a week now. every time i cough hard i feel a pull in my pet and get scared if its affecting baccha inside. is this harmful? planning to ask my gynac too but wanted to hear from others.
