We have a family wedding coming up and it's a 6 hour car journey. Im 18 weeks. Is it ok to travel that long or should i skip it? would love to hear what others did.
You can, just go with a calm mind and don't overexert. We did a small temple trip in the second trimester and it felt lovely. Keep water, snacks and your medical file with you and take care.
Yes you can, second trimester is the sweet spot, that's when I did all my work travel and a short holiday. First trimester I was too nauseous and tired, and third I just couldn't sit long. Carry your reports, take breaks to walk, stay hydrated. For flights ask your gynac if you're past 7 months.
My MIL was very against travel but my doctor said middle months are totally fine for a normal pregnancy. We went to my parents place by train in the 5th month, no problem. Just don't plan long bumpy road trips and you're good.
Haan totally, I actually travelled to Goa in my 5th month yaar and it was the best decision. Just keep stops for loo and stretching, and pack your reports na. After 8 months I'd say chill at home only.
Depends a lot on your pregnancy. Mine was high risk so my doctor restricted long travel, but for a normal healthy pregnancy it's usually fine in the middle months. Please check with your gynac first about your specific situation before booking anything.
